Successors to lithium-ion (Li-Ion), LiPo batteries have an excellent weight/size ratio. They have no memory effect and can be charged very often without first being discharged. However, LiPo batteries require a suitable battery charger for proper operation, and using a non-recommended charger will cause irreversible damage. Don't forget that frequent charging will be very beneficial.

!! WARNING!! : LiPo batteries must not be discharged below 3v per cell, and must not be overcharged above 4.2v per cell. An unused battery will lose only 3% to 5% of its energy. Unlike ordinary batteries, LiPo cells are quite resistant to low temperatures.

Nevertheless, they prefer ambient temperatures. To keep LiPo batteries at their best, it's essential to balance them during the charging process. To do this, we recommend using a battery charger equipped with the "Balance" function.
